Bhagwant Mann: AAP leader Mohinder Bhagat has strongly condemned the derogatory remarks made by Congress leaders Pratap Bajwa and Raja Warring against Punjab Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO, calling them unacceptable and an example of Congress’s negative and irresponsible politics. He said such statements go against the spirit of democratic discourse and cannot be tolerated in public life.
Under CM Bhagwant Mann’s Leadership, Slams Congress Leaders
Speaking on the issue, Mohinder Bhagat said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Aam Aadmi Party believes in issue-based, respectful politics, while the Congress continues to indulge in personal attacks due to political frustration. He asserted that targeting a serving cabinet minister with offensive comments reflects the opposition’s lack of vision and constructive agenda.
Bhagat further stated that he, along with other cabinet colleagues, has collectively approached the authorities to seek a clear and public explanation from the Congress leaders concerned. He stressed that accountability is essential, especially for senior political leaders whose words carry influence in society.
Bhagat said that the Mann government will not remain silent in the face of such statements
Reiterating the AAP government’s stand, Bhagat said that the Mann government will not remain silent in the face of such statements. He demanded that Pratap Bajwa and Raja Warring issue an unconditional apology to the public, adding that political disagreement should never cross the line into personal insult.
The AAP leader also highlighted that the Punjab government, under CM Bhagwant Mann, is focused on governance, development, and public welfare, while the opposition is trying to divert attention through controversial and demeaning remarks. He concluded by saying that the people of Punjab are watching closely and will judge parties not by their words, but by their conduct and commitment to democratic values.
