As India reels from the aftermath of the recent terror attack and carries out targeted military operations under Operation Sindoor, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann extended strong support to the Indian Armed Forces and called for national unity in the fight against terrorism.

Taking to social media, Mann wrote in both Punjabi and Hindi, expressing pride in the Indian soldiers and assuring that the people of Punjab stand firmly with the armed forces.

“The entire nation stands united in this fight against terrorism''

“The entire nation stands united in this fight against terrorism. We are proud of our Indian Army and our brave soldiers. 140 crore Indians are with our armed forces. The people of Punjab are firmly standing behind the Army for their courage and morale. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat,” Mann stated.

His remarks come amid widespread national solidarity

His remarks come amid widespread national solidarity and international attention following India’s military strikes on terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan, which the government described as a calibrated response to the Pahalgam terror attack.

Bhagwant Mann’s statement adds to the growing chorus of support from political leaders across party lines, reinforcing the sentiment that national security transcends political divisions during times of crisis.

India launched Operation Sindoor, a high-precision military strike targeting terrorist launchpads across the Pakistan border. The operation aimed to dismantle terror infrastructure believed to be involved in planning future attacks against Indian interests. While official sources have not yet released a detailed statement, early reports suggest that the strikes were successful.
