PM Modi Security: Chandigarh police have intensified security arrangements in preparation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit on December 3, where he will review the progress of three new criminal laws.
Comprehensive Checks Underway
Police teams from Chandigarh and Mohali conducted special checks in hotels, guest houses, PG accommodations, and hostels in Chandigarh and Nayagaon on Friday night. Visitor registers were scrutinized, and Mohali police also verified tenant details in several colonies to prevent any untoward incidents.
PM's Itinerary and Deployments
The Prime Minister's helicopter is expected to land at Rajindra Park, from where he will travel to Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Sector 12 via road. The UT administration and police officials have held multiple coordination meetings, with paramilitary forces set to be deployed 24 hours prior to the visit.
Emergency Preparedness
All three government hospitals in Chandigarh have been placed on alert to handle any emergencies during the Prime Minister’s visit. Authorities are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a seamless and secure event.
