Punjab cabinet minister Fauja Singh Sarari resigns

Punjab minister Fauja Singh Sarari has resigned citing personal reasons. He said that I am and will remain a loyal soldier of the party. Now there is a possibility of major reshuffle in the cabinet of Punjab. Departments of many ministers can be changed and new faces can get a chance. The oath can be administered to the new minister in a simple program at the Governor’s residence before night on Saturday. The Ministry of Mining and Prisons can be given to Meet Hare, quoting sources. Harjot Bains can be replaced. There is also talk of changing the department of Anmol Gagan Mann.

Major reshuffle to take place in AAP’s cabinet

Presently there is a CM and 13 ministers in the Punjab cabinet. The place of 4 ministers is still vacant in the cabinet. Non-performing ministers can be shown the way out of the cabinet. While there can be entry of new faces.

It is being told that the departments of many ministers can be changed. According to sources, a program is to be organized at the Governor’s residence before 5 pm today. There is a possibility that ministers can be sworn in in this program.

At the same time, earlier allegations of corruption were also leveled against Fauja Singh. Actually, an audio tape of Fauja Singh Sarari went viral on social media. It was claimed that in the viral audio, Sarari was talking to a close friend about ‘planning for extortion’.

The viral audio was also shared by Congress leader and Bholath MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira. It was claimed that in the audio, minister Fauja Singh was talking to his close aide Tarsem Lal Kapoor on the plan of extortion from contractors and officials.

However, Fauja Singh Sarari denied the allegations and filed a police complaint against the leaked audio. Describing the audio clip as fake, the minister had called it part of a larger conspiracy. Sarari was handling the freedom fighter defense services, welfare food processing and horticulture departments.
