Punjab CM appoints heads of 13 boards, market committees

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday appointed 13 people as chairpersons of boards, corporations and market committees.

According to an order uploaded by Mann on his Twitter handle, Harchand Singh Barsat, who is the general secretary of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has been appointed as the chairman of the Punjab Mandi Board.

Rajwinder Kaur Thiara has been appointed as the chairperson of the Punjab State Container and Warehousing Corporation, while Harminder Singh Sandhu has been appointed as the chairperson of the Punjab Scheduled Castes Land Development and Finance Corporation.

According to the order, Ranjodh Hadana has been made the chairman of PEPSU Road Transport Corporation, Patiala, while Sunil Gupta has been appointed as the chairman of Punjab State Ex-Servicemen Corporation.

Gurjinderjit Singh has been appointed chairman of Punjab Information Communication Technology Corporation while Rajwant Singh will be chairman of Dhuri Bazar Committee.
