Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann appoints Aman Arora as AAP Punjab President and Shairi Kalsi as Working President

Punjab News: Punjab is witnessing a new chapter in its political story as Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann steps down from his role as Punjab AAP President. In a heartfelt announcement on X (formerly Twitter), Mann revealed the party's decision to appoint two seasoned leaders to steer its state unit forward. Cabinet Minister Aman Arora has been named the new Punjab AAP President, while MLA Amansher Singh Shairi Kalsi will serve as the Working President.

A Strategic Shift in AAP State Leadership

The decision to redistribute leadership responsibilities marks a significant move for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab. CM Bhagwant Mann emphasized his faith in the new appointees, stating, "I have full faith in both my colleagues that they will strengthen the party and the organization in Punjab and take it to new heights." As Chief Minister, Mann oversees 13–14 departments, a demanding workload that leaves little room for leading the party full-time.
