“Warm wishes to all citizens on Eid-ul-Adha,” he wrote. “I sincerely pray that Allah showers His blessings on everyone. May the spirit of brotherhood remain strong among us, and may we continue to celebrate festivals together with unity and love.”

Call for Communal Harmony and Shared Celebrations

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining communal harmony and brotherhood in a diverse country like India. He urged people to uphold the spirit of togetherness, saying festivals like Eid offer an opportunity to strengthen social bonds and cultural unity.

“We must celebrate our festivals collectively, respecting each other’s faiths and traditions. Such occasions remind us of the strength of unity in diversity,” Mann added.

Across Punjab, Eid-ul-Adha is being celebrated with religious fervour and devotion. People gathered at mosques and Eidgahs for special prayers, followed by traditional rituals and acts of charity. In cities like Ludhiana, Amritsar, and Malerkotla, large congregations marked the occasion peacefully.

Police and local administration ensured smooth arrangements and security across major towns to facilitate hassle-free celebrations.
