Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today honored 509 meritorious students who secured top ranks in the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) examination. The felicitation ceremony took place in Chandigarh, where CM Mann personally congratulated the students and lauded their hard work, dedication, and commitment.

During the ceremony, CM Mann stated that the success of these students is not only a personal milestone but also a matter of pride for the entire state. The Chief Minister also spoke about his government’s efforts to strengthen the education sector in Punjab. He said that creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment is at the core of the state’s education policy. “We want our students to receive world-class opportunities and resources so they can compete globally,” he noted.
Government Focus On Infrastructure
CM Mann reiterated that the government is focusing on upgrading school infrastructure, hiring qualified teachers, and promoting digital learning in public schools. Scholarships and financial aid are also being extended to deserving students from underprivileged backgrounds to ensure that no child is left behind due to financial constraints.
Encouraging the students to continue working hard, CM Mann said, “Your journey has just begun. Becoming doctors is a service to humanity, and Punjab needs your talent and dedication in the years to come.”
