Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Inspects Newly Constructed Sirhind–Patiala Road
Mann visited the newly completed Sirhind–Patiala road along with the adjoining link roads to review the quality of construction and assess on-ground progress. He interacted with officials and directed them to maintain strict standards in all ongoing infrastructure projects.
Providing Public Comfort Is Government’s Duty
The Chief Minister said that the upgraded road network will play a crucial role in easing traffic movement, supporting agricultural transportation, and improving connectivity between major towns and villages. Better road infrastructure, he added, directly contributes to economic activity and enhances the daily lives of residents.
He also highlighted that the state government has accelerated multiple development works across Punjab, prioritising roads, drainage, healthcare, and rural connectivity. According to Mann, timely completion and durability of projects are being ensured through continuous monitoring and accountability.
During the inspection, Mann reiterated that public money must be used responsibly and every project should reflect the needs and aspirations of the people. He assured citizens that development in Punjab will continue without delay or discrimination.
The government is also focusing on long-term plans to boost mobility, strengthen infrastructure, and create safer, smoother road networks across the state.
