During the interaction, Mann briefed the community about the Punjab government’s pro-people, transparent, and development-focused policies. He highlighted reforms in sectors such as industry, agriculture, MSMEs, education, and health, which are aimed at making Punjab a competitive and investor-friendly state. He also noted that the government is simplifying processes for businesses and ensuring fast clearances to attract new investments.

Urges Support to Bring NRI Entrepreneurs Back Home

The Chief Minister urged the diaspora to play an active role in helping Punjab grow by encouraging entrepreneurs who had moved abroad to consider returning and re-establishing their ventures in the state. He said the government is offering a stable ecosystem, modern infrastructure, and strong support systems to ensure that returning investors face no hardship.

Mann emphasised that NRIs are Punjab’s “global ambassadors” and have always contributed financially, socially, and culturally to the state’s progress. He said their expertise and global connections can help Punjab compete on the international stage.

The Chief Minister also assured the community that the state government is committed to protecting the interests of NRIs. Dedicated grievance redressal mechanisms and NRI-friendly policies are being strengthened to address issues related to property disputes, safety, and investments.

The Seoul meet is the latest in a series of international engagements by the Punjab government aimed at attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and building long-term partnerships. Mann said such interactions would open doors for technology exchange, joint ventures, and skill development opportunities for Punjab’s youth.

He concluded by inviting NRIs to visit Punjab, witness the transformation underway, and become partners in the state’s journey toward a more prosperous and modern future.
