A high-impact investment roadshow was organised today in Seoul, South Korea, where leading Korean companies, financial advisors, R&D organisations, business associations, and a large number of Indian and Punjabi diaspora members participated with great enthusiasm.

During the roadshow, Punjab was presented as a stable, transparent, and future-ready destination for global investments. Attendees were introduced to the FastTrack Punjab Portal, the Right to Business Act, and the state’s range of industry-friendly policies designed to ease operations, cut approvals time, and encourage new ventures across sectors.
Participants praised the Punjab Government’s reforms, policy clarity, and proactive governance model. Several industry representatives expressed strong interest in exploring investment opportunities in manufacturing, green energy, IT, mobility, and agro-based industries.

The Seoul roadshow marked a significant step in Punjab’s global outreach strategy, as the state government continues to position itself as a competitive hub for international industries. Officials highlighted Punjab’s strong infrastructure, including world-class expressways, robust logistics networks, upcoming industrial parks, and reliable power supply—factors that make the state an attractive choice for large-scale manufacturing and high-tech industries.
Special emphasis was laid on Punjab’s growing potential in electronics, EV mobility, renewable energy, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and precision engineering. Korean companies were briefed on emerging opportunities under Punjab’s new industrial policy, which aims to simplify regulatory processes, reduce compliance burdens, and ensure faster dispute resolution.
Punjab’s skilled workforce and its reputation for high productivity were key talking points during the event. CM Mann underlined that Punjab’s youth are equipped with technical abilities and a strong work ethic, making the state highly suitable for industries requiring advanced competencies. Discussions also explored possibilities of setting up Korean training centres, joint research labs, and innovation hubs in Punjab.
