Undeterred, Mann asserted that he is the guardian of the state's peace, and such intimidations will not hinder his commitment. He shrugged off concerns, emphasizing that the zero-tolerance policy adopted by his government against anti-Punjab forces naturally invites such reactions.

Speaking to the media during a job letter distribution event, Mann reiterated his party's confidence in winning all 13 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The threats emerged following a video message by Khalistan separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, designated as a terrorist, who warned of an assassination plot against Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and DGP Gaurav Yadav on Republic Day.
