Punjab CM Mann pays tribute to Shaheed-e-Azam Udham Singh

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann reached Sunam today on the death anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Udham Singh. He recalled their sacrifice before paying homage to the martyr. After this, he addressed how Shaheed Udham Singh took his revenge in London by swearing on the soil of Jallianwala Bagh.

CM Bhagwant Mann said on the question of granting national martyr status to Shaheed Udham Singh from the Central Government that no certificate is required from the Central Government. Who is the central government to give martyr status and certificate of nationalism.

If Bharat Ratna is given to Shaheed Udham Singh, Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha, Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, then it will increase the honor of Bharat Ratna. People already have a great status for martyrs. In such a situation, who is the central government to give NOC that who is a martyr and who is not.

CM Bhagwant Mann said that there are some symbols of martyrs in Pakistan. In these there are hanging ropes and some other signs of Bhagat Singh and other martyrs, but political upheaval continues in Pakistan. Efforts will be made to bring all these symbols to India.

Official holiday in Sangrur on Martyr’s Day

The Punjab government had declared government holiday in Sangrur on Monday i.e. today, July 31, 2 days before the Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Udham Singh. Punjab Chief Secretary Anurag Verma had issued orders in this regard.
