All these medicines were frequently used in routine treatment, but in recent days, complaints of quality-related problems and side effects had emerged. Health Department officials have immediately banned these medicines from three pharma companies and strict instructions have been given to all medical store owners to stop their sale.

All government hospitals, community health centers, private clinics and medical stores in the state have been ordered to immediately return the existing stock of these banned medicines.
