Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced a grand event to recognise and reward the top-performing students of Class 10 and 12 under the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). Describing it as part of the ongoing "Punjab Education Revolution", the CM said the special honour ceremony will be broadcast live from Chandigarh.

CM Mann emphasised that the initiative reflects his government’s commitment to transforming Punjab’s education sector. “Our goal is not just to reward success but to inspire lakhs of students across the state to aim higher,” he stated in his tweet.

The Education Department has made extensive preparations to ensure the event highlights the achievements of these bright students. Toppers will be awarded with certificates, mementoes, and possibly scholarships or future opportunities as a token of appreciation from the state.

Officials believe that such public recognition of academic success will serve as a motivational milestone, boosting confidence among students from all backgrounds. Teachers and principals have also welcomed the move, calling it a positive shift in valuing education at the highest level.
