Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday announced that his government has extended an invitation to leading global companies to invest in Punjab, as part of a larger effort to strengthen the state’s economy and generate substantial employment opportunities for its youth.
In his statement, Mann said that increased foreign and domestic investment would directly boost job creation, enabling thousands of young men and women to secure stable livelihoods. He emphasised that the government is committed to creating a competitive industrial ecosystem that encourages innovation, manufacturing growth, and sustainable development.

The Chief Minister highlighted that Punjab has been undertaking major reforms in industrial policy, including simplified business approvals, improved land allotment processes, and incentives for technology-driven enterprises. These measures, he said, are aimed at ensuring that investors find Punjab both business-friendly and growth-oriented.

Mann also noted that the state has been upgrading its infrastructure—such as roads, logistics networks, and power supply—to meet global industry standards. The government is working closely with various departments to provide seamless support to companies willing to set up manufacturing units, service centres, and R&D facilities.
He further added that Punjab’s skilled workforce, strategic geographical location, strong agricultural base, and expanding industrial corridors make it an attractive destination for multinational firms seeking long-term investment opportunities in India.
Several international companies have already expressed interest in exploring Punjab’s potential, and discussions are underway to finalise new partnerships. The government believes these developments will place Punjab among the leading industrial states in the country in the coming years.
