Punjab: In Punjab, stoke burning is not decreasing. The data indicates that 2467 instances of stubble burning were registered in the state yesterday. The Mann administration in Punjab has made a significant choice to address the issue of stubble burning. According to the sources, Punjab government has just made it essential to utilise stubble as fuel in brick kilns. Environment Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer and Department Science and Technology provided this information.

Brick kilns will burn up to 20% of the stubble as fuel
According to the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's directives, the Department of Environment and Science Technology has issued a notification, he said. This warning states that brick kilns will burn up to 20% of the stubble as fuel.

Therefore, farmers have to set their fields on fire, but now with this decision, where farmers will get some income, the stubble will also be disposed of properly. All deputy commissioners have also been asked to follow these instructions.
