 Punjab News: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab on Saturday unveiled its manifesto for the upcoming Jalandhar Municipal Corporation elections. The announcement was made during a press conference held in the city, addressed by AAP Punjab President Aman Arora and Executive President MLA Shery Kalsi.  

 

 

During the press conference, Aman Arora emphasized AAP’s commitment to transparent governance and all-round development of Jalandhar. He stated that the manifesto focuses on addressing the immediate concerns of residents, including better sanitation, improved road infrastructure, waste management, and uninterrupted water and electricity supply.  

 

Executive President MLA Shery Kalsi highlighted the party’s vision to make Jalandhar a model city in Punjab. He assured citizens that AAP’s municipal agenda is designed to prioritize accountability, citizen-centric services, and efficient urban management.  

 

Promises Rooted in AAP’s Governance Model 

 

The manifesto reflects AAP’s established governance model, which has been successfully implemented in Delhi and parts of Punjab. It includes provisions for subsidized civic services, robust healthcare facilities, modernized educational institutions, and environmental conservation efforts. The party also pledged to engage residents in decision-making processes through participatory governance.  

 

AAP's Stronghold in Local Politics

 

The Jalandhar Municipal Corporation elections are seen as a significant opportunity for AAP to consolidate its presence in local governance across Punjab. With this manifesto, the party aims to build on its momentum and address the aspirations of urban voters.  

 

The leaders called upon the residents of Jalandhar to support AAP’s vision for a clean, green, and progressive city, urging them to participate actively in the upcoming elections to bring transformative change.
