Punjab News: Arvind Kejriwal’s Emotional Appeal to Public for Lok Sabha Election 2024, Says “I Have to Surrender…”

Punjab News

Punjab News: As the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in India have reached a critical juncture with just three phases of voting left. Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been actively campaigning and targeting the BJP in his speeches. Recently, he addressed an enthusiastic crowd in Punjab, urging them to secure a victory for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in all 13 seats in the state.

Arvind Kejriwal’s Appeal to People of Punjab

During a public meeting in Amritsar, Kejriwal passionately appealed to the people of Punjab, emphasizing the importance of winning all 13 seats. He said, “10-12 days are left for polls, you have to make us win all the 13 seats in Punjab. I have to surrender again on 2nd June. On 4th June when I will see the results of Lok Sabha elections, I will be really happy to see AAP winning all 13 seats in Punjab…”

Attacking the BJP’s Strategy

Kejriwal did not hold back in criticizing the BJP. He stated, “The BJP’s intention was to arrest Kejriwal, thinking that if Kejriwal was gone, the party (AAP) would break up, and the government would fall. However, what happened was quite the opposite. The Aam Aadmi Party is a family, and when something bad happens in a family, every member comes together. In the same way, all of you came together and sent them a message that you cannot do anything by arresting one Kejriwal; every AAP worker is a Kejriwal.”

Voting Phases and Lok Sabha Election Result Date

The political turmoil continues as the election dates approach. The fifth phase of voting is scheduled for May 20, 2024, followed by the sixth phase on May 25, and the final phase on June 1. The Election Commission will announce the results of the Lok Sabha elections on June 4, 2024.
