Punjab News: Punjab and Haryana experienced persistent cold weather conditions on Saturday, with Hisar in Haryana claiming the title of the coldest region. According to the meteorological department's report, Hisar recorded a minimum temperature of 3.6°C, which is five degrees below the normal range.

Chilly Weekend Grips Punjab and Haryana

Ambala reported a minimum temperature of 8.2°C, just one degree below the normal temperature. Other cities in the region also faced chilly conditions, with Karnal, Narnaul, Rohtak, Bhiwani, and Sirsa registering minimum temperatures of 5°C, 8.6°C, 5.8°C, 9.4°C, and 7.8°C, respectively.

Hisar Shivers at 3.6°C

Chandigarh, serving as the joint capital of Punjab and Haryana, recorded a minimum temperature of 8°C, one degree below the usual range. Amritsar, Ludhiana, and Patiala noted low temperatures of 6.4°C, 5.8°C, and 6.1°C, respectively, displaying a dip of up to three degrees below the normal range. As the cold spell persists, residents in the region are urged to take necessary precautions to stay warm and safe.
