Addressing the challenges faced by the state, Mann expressed concerns over attempts to undermine democracy and manipulate constitutional institutions. He warned against efforts to curtail freedom of speech and alter the fabric of the constitution, asserting the need to uphold the values espoused by Bhagat Singh and Ambedkar.

Furthermore, CM Mann announced plans to enhance education and healthcare facilities in Punjab, ensuring equality between private and government institutions. He also unveiled plans to establish a new medical college in the region, inspired by the struggles faced by Punjabi students studying abroad amidst the recent conflict in Ukraine.
