Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has shared his plans to boost the state's tourism and uncover its hidden treasures. According to him, Punjab holds many untapped gems that could attract tourists, bringing in revenue and opportunities for locals.
CM Bhagwant Mann's Vision for Punjab Tourism
Recently, in a speech at the "Invest Punjab" event, Bhagwant Mann emphasised how previous governments failed to tap into the potential of these hidden treasures. He spoke passionately about the state's beautiful locations that, if highlighted, could be the key to boosting Punjab tourism.

The CM expressed his vision on X (formerly Twitter), sharing a video where he said, “There are many beautiful places in Punjab which can be the source of the treasure of Punjab. Unfortunately, previous governments did not pay attention to them. We held meetings with the tourism department to make these places a source of treasure so that the people's money can be used in the service of the people.”
Inauguration of Ran Baas- Palace
In line with his vision, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann recently inaugurated the Ran Baas- Palace, a boutique heritage hotel, in Quilla Mubarak, Patiala. This hotel, a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiative, is set to redefine luxury and comfort in the region. The Chief Minister believes that the hotel will become a significant tourist attraction, especially for destination weddings and other special events. The opening of this hotel is expected to boost tourism in Patiala and the larger state of Punjab, offering both high-end amenities and a glimpse into the region's royal past.
