He urged the Centre to extend immediate financial aid to help the state rebuild essential infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and irrigation systems damaged during the floods.
The Chief Minister also praised local administrations, volunteers, and rescue teams for their relentless efforts during the flood crisis. “Punjab has faced one of the most severe natural calamities in recent years, but the spirit and unity of our people have helped us overcome the worst,” Mann said.
The state government has already initiated relief distribution and restoration work in flood-hit areas, while long-term plans are being prepared to strengthen embankments and improve disaster preparedness mechanisms.
