In a strong push toward transforming the state’s education infrastructure under the Sikhya Kranti Punjab campaign, MLA Gurpreet Singh Banawali inaugurated development projects worth ₹46.50 lakh at government schools in village Jhuneer, Sardulgarh constituency.
The inaugural ceremony included the unveiling of upgraded facilities at Government Primary School and Government Senior Secondary School. These upgrades are part of the larger educational reform agenda being led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who has repeatedly emphasized modernizing Punjab’s public education system.
Strengthening Education Infrastructure
The development works at these two schools are expected to significantly improve the learning environment for students, with better classrooms, sanitation, and educational resources. Gurpreet Singh Banawali, while addressing the gathering, reaffirmed that such projects will continue across the state to ensure every child receives quality education regardless of their background.
Sikhya Kranti Punjab in Full Swing
The Sikhya Kranti Punjab mission is a state-led initiative aimed at revitalizing school infrastructure, teacher training, and digital learning. The campaign reflects the Mann government’s priority to make Punjab a leading state in public education standards.
Empowering the Future
MLA Banawali thanked the local community for their support and assured that more villages under the Sardulgarh constituency will witness similar developmental efforts soon. Parents and teachers present at the event expressed optimism that these changes would motivate children to pursue education with renewed interest.
As Punjab continues to invest in its young generation, this initiative is a strong step toward building an educated, empowered, and future-ready society.
