Punjab News: The Government of India has taken a significant step toward improving connectivity and reducing traffic congestion in Punjab with the approval of ₹666.81 crore for constructing the 4/6-lane Greenfield Pathankot Link Road. The Pathankot Link Road will serve as a vital link between:

• NH-44 (Delhi-Srinagar): A critical arterial highway connecting northern states.

• Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway (under construction): Part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana, this expressway aims to improve long-distance travel.
