In a continued push to reform Punjab's education infrastructure, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains inaugurated a series of school development projects in Shahpur Bela under the ‘Sikhya Kranti’ (Education Revolution) programme. The initiative is part of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government’s larger vision to provide students with modern, well-equipped learning environments.

The ‘Sikhya Kranti’ programme has seen active implementation across the state with visible upgrades to school infrastructure, smart classrooms, clean drinking water facilities, and rejuvenated learning spaces. Locals welcomed the projects with enthusiasm, stating it reflects a much-needed focus on grassroots education.
The Education Minister also interacted with students and teachers during his visit. He assured them that the government will continue to monitor progress closely and introduce further reforms based on local needs. Teachers appreciated the renewed focus on education, calling it a long-awaited shift from mere promises to ground-level execution.
