Punjab News: In a significant move towards sustainable urban transportation, the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has announced the launch of a project to introduce 50 electric buses within Patiala city, covering a radius of 30 kilometers. This initiative is set to benefit not only the common populace but also the local traders, by providing an eco-friendly and efficient mode of transportation. Furthermore, the government plans to revamp the old bus stand to accommodate the influx of local buses, thereby upgrading the city's public transport infrastructure.

Chief Minister Mann, while addressing a gathering at the Sarkar Vyapaar Milni event, highlighted his administration's commitment to steering Punjab towards becoming a debt-free, progressive, and prosperous state. Despite inheriting a significant amount of debt from previous governments, Mann's administration is focused on overcoming these challenges through concerted efforts, including enhanced revenue collection which has shown promising results in the state budget over the past two years.

By highlighting these accomplishments, Mann seeks to underscore the positive impact of his government's policies on the lives of Punjab's citizens.
