Punjab News: In a major milestone for the education sector, Punjab has secured the first rank in the National Achievement Survey (NAS) 2024, marking a historic achievement under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The state topped the nationwide assessment with a score of 80 in the Class III foundational learning category, surpassing traditionally high-performing states like Himachal Pradesh (74) and Kerala (73).
The National Achievement Survey, conducted by NCERT, evaluates foundational learning and academic outcomes across various states. Punjab’s top performance is being hailed as a direct result of the state government’s aggressive reforms and investments in the school education sector.
