Officials said the mission is not limited to enforcement alone but is also focused on breaking drug supply chains, strengthening preventive mechanisms, and creating awareness among youth to steer them away from substance abuse. Continuous search operations, intelligence-led raids, and public awareness drives are being carried out in both urban and rural areas of Punjab.

The Punjab government has repeatedly reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards drugs, with CM Bhagwant Mann emphasising that drug abuse is not just a law-and-order issue but a serious social challenge affecting families and the future of youth. The administration has instructed police teams to act firmly against smugglers while simultaneously engaging communities in anti-drug awareness campaigns.

Senior police officials noted that public cooperation has played a key role in the success of the mission, with citizens increasingly sharing information related to drug networks. Awareness initiatives in schools, colleges, and villages are also being strengthened to promote a drug-free and healthy lifestyle.

The Punjab Police has appealed to citizens, especially the youth, to join hands in the fight against drugs and support the mission to make Punjab Nasha Mukt (drug-free). The government has assured that the campaign will continue with the same intensity until drug networks are completely dismantled across the state.
