Bhagwant Mann: In a significant breakthrough against cross-border drug trafficking, the State Special Operations Cell (SSOC), Fazilka, in a joint operation with the Border Security Force (BSF), apprehended one accused and recovered 5 kilograms of heroin. The operation marks another decisive step in Punjab Police’s intensified crackdown on narcotics smuggling networks.

According to preliminary investigations, the seized consignment was smuggled from Pakistan and was intended for further distribution across different parts of Punjab. Security agencies believe the recovery has dealt a major blow to the drug supply chain operating along the international border.
