Punjab to give Centre 103 acres free of cost for NSG hub

The Center and the Punjab Government have made a new strategy to compete with Pakistan in the border area. Now the National Security Guard (NSG) center will be set up in Sakol village of Pathankot. For this, the Punjab government will give 103 acres of land to the center free of cost. The Punjab government has sent a letter in this regard to the Union Home Ministry.

Also appealed that work in this direction should be done on initiative basis

According to the information, talks were going on between the Center and the Punjab government for about 3 years, but this project could not materialize. However, now the Punjab government has taken a step in this direction. According to sources, earlier the government wanted the price of the land. In May, the Center wrote a letter to the Punjab government.

After this the issue was discussed with the government after which the green signal has been given to the project. It is expected that work in this direction will start soon. This will also boost the development of the area. Remember that these days the focus of the present government is alsol on cities like Pathankot. The government is trying to develop these cities as model cities. To improve the standard of living of the people.
