Punjab Will Stand Again! Punjab Government Sends a Message to the World Through ‘Mission Chardikla’

Bhagwant Singh Mann calls ‘Mission Chardikla’ a people’s movement to restore Punjab’s prosperity with global Punjabi support.

Punjab, the land of the Gurus, which is always filled with the spirit of ‘Chardikla’ stands firm even after the damage caused by the floods. ‘Mission Chardikla’ has been launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, aiming not just to pull Punjab out of the crisis but to take it back to the peak of prosperity and progress.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that ‘Mission Chardikla’ has been initiated to secure Punjab’s future, going beyond just relief and rehabilitation. He said, “Our farmers have to cultivate again, children have to return to school, and flood-affected families have to rebuild their homes.” This mission is based on the spirit of unity and brotherhood among Punjabis. Punjabis residing both in India and abroad are becoming a part of this campaign and contributing open-heartedly, which proves that the people of Punjab stand together even in difficult times.

‘Mission Chardikla’ is based on the cooperation of the people. The Chief Minister said that Punjabis always stand together. They faced the calamity like the floods together as well. Punjabis residing globally are joining this campaign and helping. The Chief Minister also thanked the Union Bank of India for extending their support to this good cause with a contribution of ₹2 crore. As the Chief Minister said, “Your ₹10 is also equal to ₹10 crore.” This help is not just monetary but a sign of the love and solidarity of the people of Punjab.

The Punjab government has made full preparations for this mission. A special War Room has been set up in the Chief Minister’s Office, which will keep a direct watch on every aspect of ‘Mission Chardikla’. The Chief Minister himself monitors it daily. Furthermore, Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh stated that special care is being taken of the health of people and animals in the flood-affected areas. The government will also provide compensation to the farmers whose crops have been damaged. All these steps show that the government isn’t just talking, but is taking action.

‘Mission Chardikla’ is not just a government scheme, but a collective effort. It reflects the spirit of Punjab that together we can face any challenge. This mission is giving Punjabis a chance to rebuild their state together. It’s a step that shows Punjab doesn’t give up, but always remains in ‘Chardikla’.
