Ten Players’ Determination
The match saw a major setback for the Indian team in the second quarter when Amit Rohidas received a red card. As a result, the team had to play the remainder of the match with only 10 players. Despite this challenge, India showcased exceptional performance and secured a spot in the semifinals. The penalty shootout witnessed Indian players dominating, with a final score of 4-2 against Britain. The hero of this victory was goalkeeper PR Sreejesh, who saved two goals during the shootout, ensuring India’s triumph.
