Punjabis have enormously contributed to the national freedom struggle: Chetan Singh Jauramajra

Bhagwant Mann’s Cabinet minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra on Monday attended an event organised by Freedom Fighters Successors Organisation on the occasion of 126th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

To hike pension of freedom fighters

Assuring that freedom fighters in Punjab will see their issues resolved promptly, Jauramajara said that he would meet all of them personally. He also announced an assistance of Rs 50,000 to repair freedom fighters’ houses.  In a major relief to freedom fighters, he also announced that he would urge the chief minister to hike pension of freedom fighters. 

Pays tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose

To commemorate Netaji’s Subhas Chandra Bose’s 126th birth anniversary, he also paid floral tributes to the leader. He added that it’s a matter of great pride that Punjab has greatly contributes to India’s freedom movement. He also asserted that every Indian citizens’ should respect the legacy of our brave freedom fighters.
