Rahul Gandhi vows to employ 10 lakh young men and women in Karnataka within five years

Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi: If the Congress is elected to power in Karnataka in the upcoming election, unemployed graduates will be granted Rs 3,000 per month for two years and diploma holders Rs 1,500 per month for the same period, Rahul Gandhi said at a rally in the state’s Belagavi on Monday. The Congress MP slammed the BJP over jobs, alleged scandals in the state, and allegations that the government charges contractors 40% commission.

Rs 2,000 per month to women and 10 kg of grains to every poor family

“On the Bharat Jodo Yatra, young people approached me and said there are no jobs in this state,” Rahul Gandhi explained. “Over the next two years, the Congress would offer Rs 3,000 to each graduate and Rs 1,500 to diploma holders. We’re not going to stop there. Within five years, we will employ 10 lakh young men and women and fill the state’s 2.5 lakh vacancies. Throughout the Yatra, women also spoke about their issues. “We would provide Rs 2,000 per month to women, 10 kg of grains to every poor family, and 2,000 units of free energy,” he added.

There was brotherhood and mutual respect- Rahul Gandhi

According to Rahul Gandhi, during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, everyone walked together and there was neither hostility or violence. “There was brotherhood and mutual respect. Lakhs of people opened stores of love in a market of hatred. And this is our India,” stated Rahul Gandhi. “The country belongs to everyone, not just a few. It is not Adani’s property. It belongs to the farmers, labourers, young people, and the impoverished,” he added.

This government is the most corrupt in the country-Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi said that corruption is pervasive in the state, adding that no action has been taken in the Mysore Sandal Soap Corporation affair, the case of a BJP MLA’s son who was discovered with lakhs, and the job scams. “There is rampant corruption in the state because the BJP government’s allies are favoured in Karnataka. There are no employment in the state, the government charges contractors 40% in commission, and this government is the most corrupt in the country,” he continued. “We will fight the election and will sweep the state because people want to remove the BJP government. “With a massive mandate, we will defeat the BJP together,” Rahul Gandhi declared.
