117 Rajasthan University students get gold medals at convocation

Governor and Chancellor Kalraj Mishra has called for developing a research culture that gives direction to fundamental establishments in universities. Along with this, along with ancient knowledge, it has been said that students will get opportunities to directly connect with the research and research being done at the global level (117 students got Gold Medal).

The Governor said these things while addressing the 77th Foundation Day and 32nd Convocation of the University at the Convention Center of Rajasthan University on Sunday. Along with this, he laid the foundation stone of the Constitution Park by unveiling the plaque in the garden located in front of the Central Library building of University of Rajasthan. At the same time, 117 students were given gold medals in the convocation ceremony. In which 72% are girl students.

Gold medals were awarded to 117 out of 123 students who secured the highest marks in the previous examinations at the convocation ceremony of the university. At the same time, PhD degrees were awarded to 395 students in 8 faculties of the university. During this, Chancellor Governor (32nd Convocation of University of Rajasthan) Kalraj Mishra while addressing the ceremony said that the youth studying in universities should be aware of the rights related to the constitution as well as the fundamental duties and its great culture.

This is the reason why initiative has been taken to make Constitution Park in all the funded universities of the state. Describing the Indian Constitution as the best interpretation of democracies around the world, he said that the Constitution is not just a book related to governing the country, but it is the conductor of our lofty life traditions.

Governor also expressed happiness over giving approval to develop the innovation cluster in the university

He called for preparing such courses under the new education policy. So that the students become aware of the subject as well as the surrounding environment. He suggested to develop the archery training center in the campus as the leading training center of the country. He said that with this the students studying here (Governor Kalraj Mishra in Jaipur) will be able to connect with global innovations of research.

Drawing attention to the fact that 72% of the 117 students who got the gold medal by scoring the highest marks in the previous examinations, the Governor said that it is a matter of pride that the girl students are ahead of the boys. All of them will use their education in future for the upliftment of the nation and society. Whereas, Vice Chancellor Prof. in the ceremony. Rajeev Jain congratulated one lakh 75 thousand 404 students who passed in various examinations, wishing them a bright future.
