Centre to enact social security law for “benefit” of poor: Rajasthan CM

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has once again started blowing air on the front of social security before the assembly elections, where on the last day of Chintan Shivir, Gehlot appealed to the central government to implement social security law in the whole country, saying that this A letter will be written to the Central Government in this regard. At the same time, on Tuesday, in Chintan Shivir, the Gehlot cabinet has also passed a resolution on this demand from the central government. At the same time, CM Gehlot said that Rajasthan ranks first in law and order in the country and providing social security to the people of the state is the top priority of our government. The CM informed that about one crore people are currently being given pension by the state government and we also decided to implement OPS last year.

During this, Gehlot said that just as the then central governments had given social and economic support to everyone by implementing the right to education, information and food in the entire country, in the same way, the central government should implement the ‘Right to Social Security’ Act in the country.

Gehlot cabinet passed the resolution

In fact, on the last day of Chintan Shivir, Gehlot has made a unanimous proposal in front of the council of ministers, under which a letter will be written by the state government to the central government. Gehlot said that social security should become an issue in the country and there should be a national debate on it.

Gehlot further told that a social security law should be made in the Parliament, only then the people of the country will be benefited. At the same time, Gehlot demanded the central government to restore OPS in the whole country.

He told that Rajasthan government has taken an important decision in the interest of the employees by restoring OPS and many states like Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Chhattisgarh have restored it.

Compulsory FIR policy is applicable in Rajasthan: Gehlot

At the same time, Gehlot further told that the compulsory FIR registration policy is in force in the state, due to which the number of cases has definitely increased. At the same time, the CM said that in comparison to other states, the victims are getting immediate justice in Rajasthan. The CM said that earlier the families of the victims did not approach the police stations due to various reasons, but now they are registering cases and the criminals are being punished continuously.
