In a heart-wrenching yet defiant message, Vartika, the young daughter of Sergeant Surendra Moga, who was martyred during India’s recent counter-terror operations, vowed to follow in her father's footsteps and serve the nation in uniform.
“I am feeling proud that my father got martyred while killing the enemies and protecting the nation,” Vartika said, speaking with unwavering determination from her home in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan.
A Soldier’s Last Words
Recalling her final conversation with her father, she said,
“Last time, we talked to him at 9 PM last night. He said drones were roaming around but not attacking.”
Just hours later, her father made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
A Daughter’s Vow of Revenge
Vartika, inspired by her father’s bravery, said she is determined to join the armed forces and avenge his martyrdom.
“Pakistan should be finished entirely… I want to become a soldier like my father and avenge his death. I will finish them off one by one.”
Nation Salutes Its Braveheart
Sergeant Moga was one of the soldiers who lost their lives during Operation Sindoor, India’s retaliatory strike following the Pahalgam terror attack. His sacrifice has stirred the nation and added to growing calls for justice and security.
The country stands in solidarity with his family, while Vartika’s courage and spirit are being hailed as a reflection of India’s unbreakable resolve.
