The Rajasthani city of Kota, which is perched on the banks of the Chambal River, is now experiencing a serious power outage. There is an oppressively hot and oppressive feeling throughout Kota due to the skyrocketing temperatures in different regions of the city.

Heatwave Intensifies Power Problems in Kota

People in Kota and around Rajasthan are suffering due to an extreme heatwave. The situation is especially bad in Kota because of the city's ongoing power shortages. People's struggles are made more difficult by the extreme heat and the additional annoyance of power outages.

Kota has been experiencing extremely high temperatures, with minimums of 31 degrees Celsius and maximums of 45 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological Department. To make matters worse for the citizens, the department has also issued a heatwave advisory for the city.

Energy Minister's Stern Warning to Power Companies

Heeralal Nagar, Rajasthan's Energy Minister, has acted decisively in response to the current power shortages. He criticised the private power firm that supplies Kota's electricity during a public meeting. He has made it clear that any problems with the power supply must be fixed right away, and that the electrical supply must be continuously monitored.

Minister Heeralal Nagar has directed meetings with officials from Kota Electricity Distribution Limited (KEDL) and Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) to address the power outage issue urgently. He emphasized that immediate steps must be taken to resolve the problems and warned that failure to improve power supply arrangements will result in strict action against the responsible private companies.

The Energy Minister's intervention comes as a relief to the residents of Kota, who have been struggling with the dual challenge of extreme heat and power cuts.
