Lok Sabha Election 2024: The Election Commission has released guidelines for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, allowing voters with incomplete voter ID cards to use alternative documents to exercise their voting rights. According to the guidelines issued by the Election Commission, if a voter's name is listed in the voter list but they do not possess a voter ID card due to any reason, they can still cast their vote using alternative identification documents.

Dr. Amit Yadav, the District Election Officer of Bharatpur, informed that there are twelve alternative identification documents that voters can use to cast their votes.
Twelve Acceptable Documents for Voting Without Voter ID Cards
These documents include Aadhaar card, MNREGA job card, driving license, PAN card, Indian passport, pension documents with Aadhaar card photo, photo ID issued by central or state governments, PSU, public limited companies, bank passbook with photo issued by banks, photo ID issued by post office, smart card issued under the National Population Register, and documents issued to MPs, MLAs, and MLCs. Additionally, voters with disabilities can also use their Divyangjan Unique Disability ID issued by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment to cast their votes.
