Man arrested for raping, impregnating live-in partner's minor daughter

A case of rape by a person with the minor daughter of his live-in partner has come to light in Rajasthan. A 48-year-old man from Rajasthan's Baran Rape Cae district was arrested for repeatedly raping his live-in partner's 13-year-old daughter. The accused had raped the innocent and made her pregnant. The accused has been identified as Kedar Singh and was arrested on Sunday.

SHO of Chhabra Police Station Rajesh Meena told that Kedar Singh is an alcoholic. He is addicted to drugs. He was allegedly raping and sexually abusing the girl for about 8-9 months. It was told that the girl's mother died about 11 months ago and soon after that the accused started exploiting her.

Arrested the accused

SHO Rajesh Meena said that the medical examination of the minor revealed that she is 23 weeks pregnant. The whole matter came to light when the maternal uncle of the girl came to meet her. The officer said that when he narrated the incident to his maternal uncle, he was shocked. After this, he took the innocent to the police station and filed a report against Kedar Singh. A case has been registered against the accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act.
