 Benefits of the Scheme:

Monthly Pension Amount:

₹1,000 per month to eligible male beneficiaries.

₹1,250 per month to eligible female beneficiaries, transgender individuals, and those belonging to SC/ST/minority categories.

The pension amount is directly transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

Automatic Increment:

The pension amount is subject to annual increments based on the state's budget provisions and inflation.

Health Security:

Senior citizens under this scheme are often linked to state-run health insurance and welfare schemes, improving access to affordable healthcare.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

Males: Minimum age of 60 years

Females: Minimum age of 55 years

Residential Status:

The applicant must be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.

Income Criteria:

Annual family income should not exceed ₹48,000.

Not a Government Pensioner:

The applicant must not be receiving any other government pension or financial assistance under a similar scheme.

Bank Account:

A valid bank account linked with Aadhaar is mandatory for receiving the pension.

Applications can be submitted online through the official Social Security Pension Portal: https://ssp.rajasthan.gov.in

Offline applications can be submitted at e-Mitra centers, Panchayat offices, or Municipal bodies.

As part of the government’s enhanced focus on welfare and social justice, pension coverage under the scheme is being expanded. The Chief Minister has recently announced efforts to improve delivery mechanisms and ensure no eligible elderly person is left out.
