Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train from Jaipur to New Delhi through video conferencing on 12 April. This will be the first Vande Bharat Express to run from Rajasthan. On normal days, this train will run from Ajmer to Delhi, while on the inaugural day it will leave from Jaipur.
Vande Bharat will run between Jaipur and Delhi on the inaugural day
Actually, Vande Bharat Express is the country's first semi-high-speed train which first ran on 15 February 2019 from New Delhi to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. After the commencement of Vande Bharat train from Rajasthan, their number will increase to 14.
According to sources, the Vande Bharat train will run from Jaipur on the inaugural day, while on normal days the train will run between Ajmer and Delhi.
Train trial was done in March
The specialty of this train is that it is made of 100 percent indigenous technology. This air-conditioned train has many facilities like automatic doors, GPS system, WiFi. This train was trialled for three days in March. It will run at a speed of about 110 kilometers per hour between Ajmer and Delhi.
