Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its first list of candidates for the upcoming Rajasthan assembly elections. The elections are scheduled for November 23, with results expected on December 3, as declared by the Election Commission of India.
Among the notable candidates are Rajsamand MP Diya Kumari and Jaipur Rural MP Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, both BJP parliamentarians, who will be contesting in different constituencies in Jaipur.
Kirodi Lal Meena will run from Sawai Madhopur
Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, an eminent member of the BJP, will run from Jhotwara, while Kirodi Lal Meena will run from Sawai Madhopur, Baba Balaknath from Tijara, Hansraj Meena from Sapotra, and Diya Kumari from Vidhyadhar Nagar.
Rathore will run from Jhotwara, also in the Jaipur district, while Diya Kumari will run from the Vidhyadhar Nagar constituency in Jaipur. A former member of the Jaipur royal family, Diya Kumari.
candidate list includes Bablu Chaudhury for Jhunjhunu constituency
The BJP’s candidate list also includes Bablu Chaudhury for the Jhunjhunu constituency, a significant area to watch during the upcoming polls. The constituency has historical political significance, having been represented by leaders from various parties, including Jat leader Sis Ram Ola and former Assembly Speaker Sumitra Singh.
It’s worth noting that the list does not include any leaders from the faction associated with former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, indicating possible internal party dynamics. The BJP’s central election committee has approved a total of 41 candidates for the 200-member Rajasthan assembly.
