In Bhilwara, Rajasthan, people’s souls are shaken after knowing the manner in which an innocent girl was killed after being tortured. After raping a minor girl in Kotri police station area, she was burnt alive in a furnace. Her mutilated body was cremated on Monday. On Tuesday, former Rajasthan Deputy CM Sachin Pilot reached Narsinghpura village in Bhilwara district to meet the victim’s family.

Talking to the media, Sachin Pilot said, ‘The dreadful, horrific incident that was carried out and the brutality with which a minor girl was raped and murdered, cannot be accepted in any civilized society. The people who carried out this incident have crossed the limits of humanity. I have met my family members. I have received information that all the accused have been arrested.’

Pilot assured all possible help to the victim’s family

Sachin Pilot further said, ‘I have been told by the administration that a POCSO case will be registered against them and there will be a daily hearing in the court.’ It is noteworthy that Sachin Pilot consoled the family members of the victims and assured all possible help to the family. After the August 3 incident, till now only BJP leaders had visited this village and held the Congress government responsible for deteriorating law and order situation.

CM Ashok Gehlot, who has not commented on this issue so far, discussed the issue in a meeting called late on Monday night to discuss law and order. He said that we are taking immediate action to get the harshest punishment for the accused. Although this matter is being politicized.

The father of the deceased minor attempted suicide

The body parts of the girl were taken to her village on Monday, six days after she was gang-raped and brutally murdered. His father became inconsolable seeing his body in pieces and even tried to jump into the funeral pyre during his funeral. The villagers were demonstrating here for the last six days and did not allow the post-mortem of the dead body to be done until their demands were met. The picket was called off on Sunday evening, after which the post-mortem of the dead body was done at midnight.
