Rajasthan: Doctors Ends Strike Against Health Bill, Here’s Detail

Doctors in Rajasthan have ended their strike. An agreement has been reached between the Gehlot government and the doctors. A total of 8 demands have been agreed upon. On this, a decision has been taken to end the strike on the agreement between the government and the doctor.

The doctors’ strike was going on for more than 15 days in protest against the Right to Health Bill. Private hospitals were closed and along with the serving doctors, the residents also boycotted work in support of the strike. At the same time, patients will get relief.

After the agreement with the doctors, Minister Parsadi Lal Meena said that we were accepting the demand of the doctors earlier also and today the doctors themselves have withdrawn their agitation in support of the government’s Right to Health Bill and Rajasthan has become the first state in the country where the Right to Health Act will apply.

On the other hand, regarding the end of the doctors’ strike, CM Ashok Gehlot said that I am happy that the government and the doctors have finally agreed on Right to Health and Rajasthan has become the first state in the country to implement Right to Health. I hope that the doctor-patient relationship will remain the same in future as well.
