Under this scheme, eligible children will receive free treatment in government and empaneled private hospitals across Rajasthan. The program encompasses a broad range of medical services, including specialized care for critical illnesses, surgeries, and follow-up treatments. This is a significant step in improving access to quality healthcare for children from underprivileged families.

State Government Initiative Aims to Provide Free Healthcare to Children from Vulnerable Families

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot emphasized the importance of the scheme during the launch event, stating, "Every child deserves access to healthcare, irrespective of their family's financial condition. The Mukhyamantri Ayushman Bal Sambal Yojana is a testament to our commitment to ensuring no child is deprived of medical care."

The scheme has been integrated with the existing Ayushman Bharat initiative to expand its reach and efficacy. Families with an income below the poverty line (BPL) or holding Jan Aadhaar cards are among the primary beneficiaries.

To avail of the benefits, families must register under the scheme through the designated portals or nearby centers. A helpline has also been set up to assist applicants with the process.

This initiative is expected to have a far-reaching impact on child health in Rajasthan by addressing healthcare disparities and providing timely medical interventions. The scheme aligns with the state government’s vision of a healthier Rajasthan and is poised to become a model for other states to emulate.

For more details, families can contact their nearest healthcare centers or visit the official government website.
