Rajasthan News: In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, voters have a powerful ally in the form of the #cVIGIL App, designed to address violations of the Model Code of Conduct promptly.

The CVIGIL App serves as a deterrent against those who breach electoral norms, allowing users to report any violations they witness directly to the Election Commission.

By downloading the app and registering with their details, users can swiftly submit complaints by capturing photos or recording videos of any misconduct they observe during the election process.

Complaints lodged through the CVIGIL App are addressed within 100 minutes, ensuring swift resolution and upholding the integrity of the electoral process.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has introduced the cVIGIL mobile application, aimed at facilitating citizens’ reporting of violations of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during elections. Accessible on both Android and iOS platforms, the app provides a straightforward means for users to report incidents of misconduct swiftly.

To report a violation, users can easily navigate through the app, selecting the type of violation observed and providing essential details such as location, time, and supporting photographs or videos. Notably, the app utilizes GPS technology to precisely pinpoint the location of the reported incident.

One of the app’s standout features is its commitment to user secrecy, ensuring anonymity for those reporting violations. This aspect has garnered praise for fostering authenticity and encouraging greater participation in the electoral process.
