Rajasthan News: Amidst the recent communal tension between two communities in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, Minister Jogaram Patel has called for maintaining peace and harmony in the region. Speaking about the incident in Soorsagar, Patel emphasized the importance of upholding the state's tradition of living in harmony.
Appeal for Unity
"Our tradition has been to live in harmony," said Patel, addressing the communal unrest. He warned that any attempts by anti-social elements to exploit the Soorsagar incident to disrupt communal harmony would not be tolerated. "If an anti-social element makes yesterday's incident in Soorsagar as the base and tries to remove harmony, it can't be tolerated. I urge all communities to uphold love and harmony," he added.
Police Action and Ongoing Measures
Patel reassured the public that the police have already taken action against those responsible for the incident and are prepared to take further measures if necessary. "If someone tries to give it a different form, then action has been taken against them by the police. Further action will be taken if any such thing is found," he stated.

The minister confirmed that the situation in the affected area is currently peaceful. "Right now, the area is peaceful. Action has been taken against the guilty and suspects," Patel noted. His statement comes as a bid to calm the residents of Jodhpur and prevent the escalation of tensions.
