Rajasthan Viral Video: ‘After Marriage, Bride First Needs To Get Intimate With Sasur, Then Devar, Later Husband…’ Girl Elaborates On Rajasthani Tradition, NCIB Clarifies

Rajasthani Viral Video: NCIB slams woman for false claims on Rajasthan’s customs. She alleges brides spend the night with sasur, devar before husband and that the first child from such relations is abandoned. NCIB investigation confirmed no such practice exists.

Rajasthan Viral Video: A video podcast claiming odd Rajasthani marriage rituals was circulating widely online, leading to public outrage. The girl claims that in certain regions of Rajasthan, a bride needs to get intimate with her father-in-law and then with her son-in-law before her Husband.

However, now the National Crime Investigation Bureau (NCIB) denounces her false claims. The agency further demands immediate, strict action against the lady for spreading misleading news online.

Woman Makes False Claims on Viral Video

NCIB posted the viral video about Rajasthan on their official X handle along with a detailed caption. The agency notes the woman’s fake claim that “under a tradition in Rajasthan, after marriage, first there is a relationship with the father-in-law, then the brother-in-law, and then the husband, and the first child born is thrown away”.

The agency has conducted an impartial investigation to fact-check this issue. However, after the investigation, they found no evidence of having any such evil custom in Rajasthan.

NCIB Urges the Public to Fact-Check Before Believing

The national agency thus completely refuted the lady’s fake and controversial Viral video on Rajasthan. They even claim it to be a cheap publicity stunt to get viral online.

But such claims can lead to public suspicion and hatred for a certain community. That is why they request the public to fact-check every comment by these immensely growing self-proclaimed podcasters before believing in them.

Legal Action Demanded Against Accused Woman

The Non-Governmental Organisation also appealed to the Rajasthan Police to take action against the lady. She is clearly defaming the state and its customs without having clear evidence. Every individual putting such big claims online needs to fact-check their words as well.

Spreading misinformation, that too the ones for defaming an entire state’s image, should not be normalised. Such misleading social media content can cause targeted judgment and hatred. Therefore, she needs to be held accountable for the damage her baseless claims in the viral video are causing now.
